AN Oasis fan who saw a man fall to his death at Saturday’s Wembley gig said last night: “It was horrific to see.”
The concert-goer added: “I was directly underneath. At first glance I thought it was a coat falling but then I saw the bloke on the concrete.”

The 90,000-seat venue’s highest stands are 170ft above ground.
Some onlookers said the tragedy occurred when people were trying to leave upper tier 511.
The man, in his 40s, is believed to have fallen as the audience was applauding and fireworks were going off at the end of the show.
Other fans said they feared losing their footing due to the “amount of beer thrown and drinks spilt”.

One described it as being “like an ice rink”.
And another said on social media: “Walking down the steps to our seats I thought, ‘It wouldn’t take much to slip and fall’.”
Another gig-goer who saw the man fall wrote: “I was in block 511 and the guy next to me slipped and fell. It was messed up.”
In a statement yesterday, Liam and Noel Gallagher’s band said: “We are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night.

“Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.”
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that officers responded to reports of an injured man at 10.19pm on Saturday.
He was found with “injuries consistent with a fall”.
Witnesses were last night urged to contact police.

A Wembley stadium spokesperson said: “Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and the police attended to a concert-goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall on Saturday.
“Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died.
“Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers.”
They added: “The police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.”
Oasis’s fifth performance at another packed Wembley Stadium went ahead tonight.
It was the band’s last in London before they return for two dates in September – after gigs across North America.
The police are expected to inform the Health and Safety Executive which could launch a probe into the death.
The band crashed ticket sites when they announced they were making a comeback last year – as more than 14 million fans tried to secure a seat at the highly-anticipated gigs.
Last month Liam and Noel reunited on stage in Cardiff for the first time since a backstage bust-up broke up the band 16 years ago.

They performed a 23-song setlist of classic hits, including Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back in Anger and Live Forever to a roaring crowd of 80,000 people at Heaton Park.
