Here are the first worst episodes of Young Sheldon ranked, according to IMDb
Despite most Young Sheldon episodes being amazingly written, it’s impossible to have every one be a 10 and according to IMDb, there are quite a lot of bad episodes. From annoying characters to boring storylines, there are a million and one different reasons why an episode can flop.
Nonetheless, here are the five worst episodes of Young Sheldon ranked, according to IMDb. So if you disagree with which episode is number one, take it up with IMDb!
5. Jiu-Jitsu, Bubble Wrap, and Yoo-Hoo – 7.2
Out of all of the episodes of Young Sheldon, this one is the fifth worst, according to IMBd. It takes place in season one, episode 18 and was when the show was still trying to find its identity.
During the episode, Sheldon is afraid of one of his neighbours who is bullying him, and Mary asks Georgie to look after his little brother. Georgie discovers Sheldon is afraid of their six year old neighbour Bobbi Sparks and asks George to talk to the bully’s dad. It’s not the worst episode out there but not anything that exciting happens.
4. A Pink Cadillac and a Glorious Tribal Dance – 7.2
The fourth worst episode happens in season five, episode 12 and involves Sheldon attending his first comic book convention as well as Mary attempting to sell makeup. The plot doesn’t follow along from the previous episode at all and there was a lot of Mr Lundy in it, which seems to have contributed to the low score.
3. Future Worf and the Margarita of the South Pacific – 7.2
Most of the episodes in season six of Young Sheldon are some of the highest rated in all the seasons, but according to IMBd this one really fell short of the mark. Episode two of season six only got 7.2 out of 10, and during the episode, Sheldon and Missy try to help the family’s financial struggles, whilst Mary struggles with life outside of the church.
2. Cowboy Aerobics and 473 Grease-Free Bolts – 7.1
The two worst rated Young Sheldon episodes on IMBd are both from season four and surprise surprise, this one has Mr Lundy in it again. Sheldon campaigns to become Dr Linkletter’s lab assistant whilst Georgie asks Dr Lundy for help with a business venture. Any mention of Lundy seems to drop the rating of an episode considerably, and season four episode 10 is no different!
1. A Pager, a Club and a Cranky Bag of Wrinkles – 7.1
The official worst episode in the whole of Young Sheldon is in season four, episode 11 which is directly after the one we just mentioned. Looks like they were going through a string of bad scripts. During the episode, Dr Linkletter pushes Sheldon to make friends with the other students at college and Georgie gets a pager. Overall not a ton happens and it seems that focus on Dr Linkletter wasn’t as plus point either.
