Iconic Full House mansion sells for $6M and comes with sweet nod to the show

The Victorian mansion used for exteriors in the hit series Full House has been sold for $6 million, but the home came with some sweet mementoes of from the stars of the hit show.
The house, built in 1883, and located on San Francisco’s famous Postcard Row, previously belonged to Full House creator Jeff Franklin.
The front of the house located in one of the most beloved areas of the city, became a familiar sight to fans who tuned in to the family friendly show each week for eight seasons.
It was used again in establishing shots for the Fuller House reboot in 2016.
The Emmy nominee sold the four-bedroom home in 2020 for $5.35 million, but not before adding some major upgrades, while leaving behind some fun surprises for fans of the show.
Set around the fence that borders the property, the new owners will find concrete slabs with the hand prints and autographs of several of the stars including Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner, and Andrea Barber who starred as family friend Kimmy Gibbler.

During the restoration process, the back yard, was transformed into a beautiful and relaxing English garden.
Full House was shot on a studio lot, so the interiors of the three story house were not shown in the sit-com starring John Stamos, the late Bob Saget and Dave Coulier as three men working to raise three young girls, after the death of their mom.

The 3,737-square-foot home features a custom chef’s kitchen.
Top of the line appliances include a wine fridge, custom cabinetry, a Viking stove and and a Calacatta Oro marble island.
The island provides seating for four, making it a great place to enjoy a quick breakfast or cup of coffee.
That section of the house opens on to a large dining and sitting area.
According to the listing from The Swann Group, the main level of the home features a grand living room with a fireplace.
The second floor boasts offers a wet bar, den and laundry room along with a bedroom featuring a full bath.
