Young Sheldon Actors Mimic Missy And Georgie’s Final Arc In Adorable Reunion Images
Missy and Georgie’s final Young Sheldon arc is reflected in Raegan Revord and Montana Jordan’s new reunion images. It has been weeks since the Young Sheldon finale, and yet, it continues to be a favorite topic of conversation among its massive fan base because of how much happened in the show’s final hour. Overall, the Coopers’ final Texas send-off was satisfying, and even impressive, considering how it handled George’s death and subsequent funeral. As the show’s focus shifted back on Sheldon, Young Sheldon didn’t get to shed as much light on other relationships, including Georgie and Missy’s.
Revord recently took it to her official Instagram account to share her and Jordan reunited after Young Sheldon wrapped up. Check out the adorable snaps below:

In the images, Revord is seen meeting Jordan’s newborn daughter, Emma Rae. This reunion mimics Georgie and Missy’s final arc in Young Sheldon in light of the birth of Baby Cece.

Ideally, Missy would be a main cast member of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, but Revord previously revealed that she wasn’t invited.
Missy barely appeared in The Big Bang Theory, which means that what’s revealed about her future is limited. This makes her the perfect character to focus on after Young Sheldon. Unfortunately, however, instead of doing that, Chuck Lorre and his team opted against making her a central character for their sequel to the acclaimed family comedy/drama. Instead, Young Sheldon will be followed by Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, which will tackle the headlining couple’s life as newlyweds. Like the rest of the remainder Coopers in Texas, Missy won’t be a series regular in the spinoff.
That said, she is expected to make an appearance as a guest star. Since Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage will pick up a couple of months after the end of Young Sheldon, and will still be set in Medford, a cameo from the Coopers is somewhat imperative. Otherwise, their absence would raise questions about the status of Georgie’s relationship with his family. Ideally, Missy would be a main cast member of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, but Revord previously revealed that she wasn’t invited. Maybe CBS will change its mind after seeing her on-screen again with Jordan.
Overall, CBS is missing out on a big storytelling opportunity by not further taking advantage of Missy’s popularity. Revord already revealed her true feelings about Missy’s ending fate in Young Sheldon, and it should be motivation to make it up to the character and her fans. In any case, it isn’t too late to bring her in as a series regular for Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
